Today we went to the Met for class and it was pretty freakin cool. We've been studying modern art all semester and how it infeluences film, so I spent a couple hours in the Modern Art section looking around and seeing how it has influenced films I've seen. It's cool to see how painters thougt about lighting and composition the same way a director does. I'm probably gonna go back again soon and check out some of the stuff I didn't get to see and also check out the Museum of Modern Art next week. Oh yeah, and that picture is this really cool Salvadore Dali painting I saw there.
