saw Cinderella Man tonight. great film and a great story. The guy basically got the crap beat out of him in the ring just so he could get enough money to feed his kids the next day. The boxing scenes are intense, since Ron Howard always keeps camera right in their faces as the punches hit. There's also a great scene where Braddock goes to the Garden and begs his old promoters for money because he's broke and he can't feed his kids. Another beautiful score by Thomas Newman, who is probably my favorite composer next to John Williams, and Paul Giamatti's performance, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors, and the whole A Beautiful Mind crew, Crowe, Howard, and Akiva Goldsman really made this a great movie. I think I'm gonna go buy the soundtrack off iTunes right now.
